DEVELOPMENT OF ORIGEN'S IDEAS IN THE DOCTRINE OF BERNARD OF CLAIRVAUX

The article examines the impact of creationist ideas of Origen on philosophical and theological views of the medieval mystic Bernard of Clairvaux. It is shown the proximity of Christian thinkers in understanding the problem of freedom in the context of reasoning the causes about the lapse from virtue and means of recovery of man. Transformation of the views of Origen in the doctrine of St. Bernard, as a natural process of formation of medieval mysticism was investigated.
